Born in Damascus, Syria, Alaa’s cultural roots continue to shape his visual approach. Having lived in Saudi Arabia for over two decades, he has developed a deep understanding of Gulf identity and contemporary Arab visual culture. His work is driven by storytelling, authenticity, and a refined aesthetic that bridges heritage with modern expression.
He is the founder of Click It Studio, a creative studio specializing in high-end commercial photography and visual storytelling, and a co-founder of Arabsstock, the world’s largest Arabic digital content library dedicated to authentic Arab representation in media.
Recognized for his contribution to culture and the arts, Alaa has been granted the UAE Golden Residency under the Creatives category.
